The ADFA Brand

The Name

You can refer to the association as the Alberta Drama Festival Association or the ADFA (with at least one reference to the full name in the article preferred). 

Okay to Use: Alberta Drama Festival Association, ADFA, ADFA.ca, adfa.ca, A.D.F.A.
Not Okay to Use: ADF Association, adfa, a.d.f.a.

For the festival, we have a series of regional festivals followed by a provincial festival. It is important to us to promote the structure of the ADFA's festival structure. Please consider the guidlelines below.

Formed in 1969, the Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA) is an umbrella organization for adult amateur drama activity in the province of Alberta. The ADFA runs an annual series of ten regional one-act play festivals that culminate into the ADFA Provincial One-Act Play Festival. The Provincial Festival is a non-competitive celebration of Drama supporting community theatre in Alberta. The ADFA is a non-profit association incorporated under the Societies Act of Alberta with no paid personnel. The executive and regional associations are made up of individuals who donate their time and energy to the community theatre of this province.
